Growing up amidst adversity, he turned his challenges into opportunities to serve others, particularly young people. His dedication to empowering youth and providing them with the support and resources they need to thrive is the reason he founded Dope Human, Inc.
As a former local barber turned nonprofit founder, Jamal's journey demonstrates his commitment to service, social justice, and youth empowerment. His belief in the potential of every young person to contribute to positive change resonates through his work, which includes organizing community events, providing mentorship, and offering counseling services specifically designed for youth.
The loss of his father at a young age served as a catalyst for Jamal to prioritize making meaningful memories and fostering kindness in himself and others. Throughout his career, he has developed a unique blend of skills and expertise, making him an invaluable asset to our team at Dope Human, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and providing them with the resources and support they need to thrive.
As a Grant Services Director, William's responsibilities have encompassed a wide range of activities, including community outreach, funding, and compliance requirements.
